Location
Tucked in the foothills of the ancient Appalachian mountains, Rome-Floyd County is centrally located near three major cities: Atlanta, Birmingham and Chattanooga. Rome is 65 miles northwest of Atlanta and is less than an hour and a half from Atlanta’s Hartsfield Jackson International Airport via Interstate Highway 75 and is 60 miles from the Chattanooga Airport with daily service for numerous national and international flights.
